Arizona Photo Presenter for mac has always impressed us, because of the pure simplicity of the program, its ability to produce the most impressive photo presentational sequences you are ever likely to see for next to nothing in cost. Not only does it provide a whole new way of browsing and watching your precious images but it also has the ability to export them to use in a variety of ways to really create stunning video and photo presentations. Version 2 was good but version 3 gets even better with some additional templates to add to the already impressive collection, one of them includes Apple TV. With many slideshow viewers they are limited to showing images but with Arizona Software they have included the ability to exhibit movies with images and they have made it as easy as 1,2,3. Additionally you can exhibit your work on multiple monitors, treating each monitor as a single large display. This application seems to know no boundaries you can view your images and movies from literally any media whether it is CD, DVD, Digital Camera, simply select one of their prolific templates and you are watching an impressive presentation with effects, and not forgetting the integration of iTunes to add music to your presentation. However it is important to realize that this mac application is a viewer and not a slideshow editor, another words this program will not adjust photos and precisely allow you to adjust animation targeting a specific area of an image, it will only play music from your iTunes library, it also has a few bugs which are presently being worked upon. Conclusively we found this application to be an easy to use and impressive slideshow viewer, however when it came to exporting one of the 3d templates or the others listed it is not obvious that you can export them, nearly all the slideshow commands are greyed out, and if you go back to the thumbnail browser those commands are available but when you click the export button you really do not know what you will be getting, this definitely needs attention it spoils a good program, therefore finishing on positive note I would say as a viewer this application is excellent, it is easy to use and the templates are excellent, the export options are good, but as far as selecting one of the templates for saving as a video file for the web or DVD, it needs a clear wizard to reassure the user they are on the right track.
