If you are website designer then you will know the importance of spreading the word that your site is out there, Google is the most popular of the search engines, however these sitemaps are also compatible with Yahoo and Microsoft as well, this application will scan all the pages on your website, so they can be indexed for these search engines to crawl, once this has been done you can upload the xml sitemap file via the built in ftp program to your web server.

Below where you type the domain name there is a button situated underneath where you can enter filters, by clicking the plus sign you can state the url, the parent folder, or a file name and set conditions as to what you want the program to do. Once that step has been completed you are then taken to the web pages found section for the results, you can then select edit links where further edits can be made, stating web page details, date of modification, frequency changes, and priority. It is at this point that you can click the generate sitemap button, you are then taken to the publish sitemap the final and last step. There you will be able to open a google sitemap account if you do not already have one, ftp upload the xml file created or view the file in its directory.
